What are the content guidelines?

We believe in fostering a safe, positive and inclusive environment at Kumu. To ensure these standards are met we have created some content guidelines and a policy to ensure everyone is safe. Experts are expected to adhere to these guidelines when sharing content on our platform. 

Creators must not share or promote content that:

• Promotes discrimination, hate speech, or harm based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation or any other characteristics
• Endorses or glorifies harm, self-harm, violence or dangerous activities
• Misleads or deceives your audience 
• Infringes on copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property
• Promotes explicit sexual content, nudity or adult content
• Showcases any illegal activities including but not limited to drug abuse, violence or any form of criminal behaviour
• Exploits or endangers children
• Showcases hate speech, harassment, bullying or threats
• Has been paid for by an external third party e.g. paid promotions or paid advice

Violations of these guidelines may result in removal of content, suspension or permanent account termination.
